Prize Fund:  Open Section: $200-140-100-60 Guaranteed ($500 Total Guaranteed)

Under 1700 Section: $312 total b/8 entries in Under 1700 Section: $136-80-56-40.

Under 1400 Section: $312 total b/8 entries in Under 1400 Section: $136-80-56-40.

Registration and Entry Fee:

Register by Feb 1 pay $40;

Register Feb 2-8 pay $45;

Register Feb 9-15 pay $50;

Register Feb 16-20 (6pm) pay $55;

After Feb 20 pay $60.

Onsite registration 9:00-9:30 morning of tournament; mandatory 1st round half point bye likely.

Masters play for free; $40 deducted from prize.

USCF membership required.

Time Control: All sections G/60; delay 5. Each player receives 60 minutes plus a 5 second delay to complete each game.

4 round Swiss System; Round Schedule:

1st Round 10am;

2nd Round 1pm;

3rd Round 3:30pm

4th Round 6pm

Optional half point bye allowed for any round declared before Round 2.

Section choice guidelines:  For “playing up” in Open or Under 1700 Section, the 100 point guideline applies: minimum recommended rating to enter Open Section is 1600, and minimum recommended rating to enter Under 1700 Section is 1300.

USCF Regular rating used for section eligibility, pairings, and prizes (Feb 2025 rating list).
