Chess Queen Club Charlotte Rapids 6 Open

A three round USCF Chess OPEN Rated tournament for all players.

WHEN

Sunday, 6th July, 2025

Format: G/30; increment 10s, Swiss based.

REQUIREMENTS

Participants must be members of the  US Chess Federation to play in Rated section.
Non USCF members can play in Non rated section.

ROUND TIMES

Round 1: 3 pm

Round 2: ASAP

Round 3: ASAP

End Time: Around 6 pm based on last round.

Sections:  U1000 and Top section.

We will provide Chess Sets, Board and Clock & Notation sheets ! So just be present at venue and enjoy game.

Benefits: You get Dual Ratings updated ! (Regular and Quick Ratings).

First Time players also welcome. We also have non rated sections if you want to try the game.

TIME CONTROL

Each player receives 30 minutes plus a 10 second bonus each move to complete each game
ENTRY FEE :

$20 only per player.
