Quads format

• Where ?
• Location -> The Spice Garden,
• 7128 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC 28227
• Quad is a group of every 4 players in the final list.
• For Rated Section :  Players must be members of US Chess Federation (USCF).
• Opportunity to Challenge Stronger Players and compete with higher-rated players.
• Benefits:  Enjoy the day full of Professional Chess with aspiring players at an affordable low cost.
• Convenient location in Charlotte. (This week in Charlotte)

Prizes: Winners in each Quad section gets trophies. 

• Format: A 3 rounds Chess Rapids for each section
• Quad Format: Every 4 players from final list forms a Quad.
• Time Control:
• G/20; increment 10 
• Each player gets all 3 Rounds to play and no elimination
• Schedule :
  • Round 1: 3.30 pm EST
  • Round 2: Starts ASAP after Round 1
  • Round 3: Starts ASAP after break
  • End Time: Approximately 5.30 PM
• Chess Sets and clocks will be provided.
• US Chess live ratings used for players having USCF ID.

• Entry Fee : $20 per player
• Limited to 28 participants only, first-filled entry basis.
• No Membership required.
