North Carolina K-5 Champion Celine Chen competed in the 2025 Kasparov Chess Federation (KCF) All-Girls National Chess Tournament in Chicago the weekend of April 5-6. She  placed 2nd overall  in the Under 10 years of age section, out of 120 players, losing only in the final round, to the eventual champion.
