Charlotte Chess Center Sunday Action Quads

      OVERVIEW

      Sunday Action Quads

A three round US Chess-rated tournament open to all scholastic (K-12) players. Quads, which group students in sections of 4 by their rating level, are a great way for students to get closer matchups for a more fun and competitive challenge.

SAQ is a qualifier event to the Tournament of Champions on May 4.

      HOW IT WORKS

      • Players must register weekly and in advance
      • 3 US Chess regular and quick rated games every Sunday
      • Quad format – students placed into groups of 4 by their most current “live” US Chess regular rating to ensure closer matchups.
      • Each evening will be limited to the first 62 players to register
      • Entries are first registered, first served
      • Quads are for students (K-12) only
